Class C
Class C fires include energized
electrical equipment, wiring fuse boxes, circuit
breakers, machinery and appliances.
The appropriate fire
extinguishers to be used
are:
- Carbon Dioxide expelled as gas and
non-corrosive
- Dry Chemical, Mono Ammonium Phosphate rated
for class A, B, & C.
- Dry Chemical, Sodium Bicarbonate and
Potassium Bicarbonate

both a low carbon steel shell with fluted base
and resistance to impact, vibration and
