There are three basic classes of fires. All fire extinguishers of Coolaire Consolidated, Inc. are labeled with standard symbols for the classes of fire they can put out.
 

Class B
Class B Fires to pertain to flammable liquids such as gasoline oil, grease tar, oil-based paint, lacquer and flammable gas.

The appropriate fire extinguishers to be used are:

  1. Carbon Dioxide expelled as gas and non-corrosive
  2. Foray Powder for ABC Fires and Purple-K for BC fires may also be used

CO2 Portable Fire Extinguisher

Designed to protect areas where class B (flammable liquids and gases) or class C (energized electrical equipment) fires could occur, this type of fire extinguisher can also be used indoors where winds do not affect discharge or where a clean extinguishing agent is required. It is with a non-conductive, non-corrosive clean extinguishing agent, and has both a low carbon steel shell with fluted base and resistance to impact, vibration and corrosion.

ABC Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher

Designed for the protection of light, ordinary and extra high hazards, this type of fire extinguisher is suitable for both industrial and commercial fire protection needs involving class A (ordinary combustibles), class B (flammable liquids and gasses) and class C (energized electrical equipment) fires. It has a seamless welded steel cylinder and a large color coded pressure gauge.

Redline Cartridge-Operated Fire Extinguisher

This fire extinguisher cartridge-type model is designed for quick, fast, and convenient operation to respond to critical industrial fires.
